4,320 Happy Little Camper Nappies Donated to Cornerstone Baby Bank in the UK
Nappies represent a significant cost for families and millions of parents across the UK cannot afford an adequate supply to maintain infant hygiene.
Cornerstone Baby Bank was set up during the peak of covid in partnership between Cornerstone Church and Forest Ward Mutual Aid. They rely on the local community to donate new and lightly used baby goods which they pass onto local people in need of baby essentials.
The Baby Bank has provided material and emotional support to over 100 families in need over the last year. Referrals come from a wide variety of places including healthcare professionals, other organisations plus self-referrals. The project has developed to include a weekly drop in session for Mums & Babies to provide a space for friendship and support. The project is run by a committed team of volunteers.
